After being exhausted with the corporate culture from my 26 years of in the industry I decided to hang my hat. I bootstrapped a consulting firm from my living room not realizing i had started my journey as a first-generation entrepreneur. I had to come up with a name, work on the logo, identify the purpose of my company, research and find market gaps as well as review and analyse the competitors.
I was doing everything I spend the last 3 decades doing as an employee; only difference was I was doing them for myself.
But the final frontier was building the team and finding the right people to hire and train. In this process i also realized a dedicated space was needed for uninterpreted focus. A single table at a co-working space was the perfect option for my budget at the time.
As the work load started increasing, I would need a bigger team but I was limited financially. So I decided to trade my knowledge for interns time. I helped them learn skills and lessons I had collected over my 3 decades for them working with me and helping my company grow.
Once I had my team, I then spent my days working with them and learning how to manage people. I learned many new lessons and acquired new people management skills. Developed workflows, reporting methods and ways to track progress.
Inbound marketing was the mantra I built my company around so churning out new content ideas, formats was our main focus. Daily content creation with blogs, videos, posts and carousels. At some point we hired video production team members started making more video content.
Slowly clients found us and we started growing more. We were knowledge and data driven which kept us competitive and that was our secret. We executed everything we learned, all the skills and knowledge applied with tedious execution.
We work with ambitious leaders who want to define the future, not hide from it. Together, we achieve extraordinary outcomes.
