A 40-year-old author, an alumnus of IIT Bombay, a gold medalist and a housewife was looking for recognition for her scholarship. We had to help her increase her online visibility.

Challenge:

The main challenge was to calm her down and reassure her about her career. While acting like her consultants, we also developed an empathetic attitude to listen to what she had to say about anything. There was an advantage while placing her in the market as contemporary authors of her domain were not very concerned with their online presence and identity. She was the only such of their kind who was fighting for her digital visibility. Finding the right target audience for her content and establishing her in the market took us a time of about 12 months.

Recommendation:

Our aim was to increase her online visibility and make her recognizable across the web. We went through a long process of targeting her group of audience – the kind of readers who would consume her content keeping in mind the journey of her “buyers”. Apart from the technical side of building her online presence, we asked her to write more original content. We grew her audience through just SEO and she witnessed an organic growth. We applied the principles of content marketing extensively to establish her as a “brand”.

Impact

With the implementation of our recommendation, she was able to spurt her growth chart. Her reach increased by 570.74 %, the click rate (of content developed by her) went up by 129.48%. The engagement rate of the content posted increased by 84.62%, and her followers on various social media platforms increased by 1230%.
