Sauntering Day - 19th June
Sauntering Day 👉🏻 Yesterday, we discussed the causes and the management of panic attack. Let us today take you to a relaxed 😌 and enjoyable journey instead. That of sauntering.
Today, we live in a fast-paced and hectic 😣 world. It’s so awful that we often forget to slow down a bit and appreciate the unnoticed beauty of life.
Let’s give ourselves some time with an intent to enjoy each and every moment 🥰 of whatever we do. Think not brisk walking but slowing down and enjoying the sights✌🏻.
📌 Typical health advice says that walking:
1. Improves brain 🧠 functioning as it improves blood supply to the brain
2. Reduces stress
3. BOOSTS MOOD 😃
4. Adds years to life
5. Helps in weight loss
6. Reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke
7. Increases muscle 🦵🏻strength and endurance 🦶🏻
And on and on and on and on!!!
You not get carried away by these promises of good health though. If you’re walking, do so without the baggage of expectations of these results. That would be true sauntering!
And remember the best gyaan of all: you don’t have to go fast! You just have to go!
Happy Sauntering! 🚶🚶♀
